It's somewhat rare for Remiel to be found fishing in the SAFARI ZONE. Usually, he's trekking through its many forests, mountains, and pastures. After recent reports of a PALDEAN Dragon-type found in its lakes, the prince is on a mission. After all, there were many different types, and he hoped to collect them all.

So, sitting on a large boulder, the royal cast his line into the shimmering lake nearby. Despite the ice and snow that still persisted on land, it wasn't snowing today. Nevertheless, the fact that his ARCTOVISH was enjoying the lake meant that the water was quite cold. It made Remiel wonder if that would effect the success of his fishing or not.

A clownish DARUMAKA attempts to distract from the peaceful fishing. It performs a little dance for Remiel and plays its BELLY DRUM. When it TAUNTS the Arctovish in the water nearby, however, it receives a FISHIOUS REND in response.

The little golem yips and flees, soaking wet. Remiel hopes all the commotion didn't scare the wildlife beneath the lake's surface away. Nevertheless, he reels his line back in, changes the bait, and casts it back in.

Out of the bushes, a CHINGLING leaps. It WRAPS itself around Remiel's arm, a scruffed-up outgoing little orphan. Pausing to set his fishing pole down, the prince rubs its little forehead. "Hello there."

Deciding that its presence wasn't too bad, the prince reaches into his tacklebox for a poffin and feeds it to the little Chingling. The Chingling happily eats it but doesn't let go of his arm. It decides that maybe traveling with this nice man wouldn't be so bad either. Especially with treats!

A SCORBUNNY seems curious about the strange creature swimming in the lake. It draws closer to inspect, kicking its feet at the water playfully. When Remiel's Arctovish ignores it, however, it decides to do something a little more drastic. It BOUNCES from shore and attempts to land on the Arctovish's head!

Needless to say, a single FISHIOUS REND blows the little bunny backward. Not willing to see a creature native to his homeland drown, Remiel pauses from his fishing. Instead, he stands and produces an empty Luxury Ball before casting it.

He just can't seem to find any peace here. Yet another Pokémon endeavours to annoy him: this time a Pancham. It tugs at his sleeve and hassles him for some of the bait he's feeding the fish. Remiel is sighs and is about to offer it some, but then it gets WORKED UP.

Noting the aggression, the Arctovish pokes its head out of the water and sends a POWDER SNOW to cast the Pancham backward. Afterward, Remiel momentarily sets down his fishing rod to pull out a Luxury Ball and cast it.

A CUTIEFLY buzzes around his face this time. To its credit, the AROMATIC MIST it wishes to share smells quite pleasant. Nevertheless, Remiel cannot sit in peace for too much longer. The fragrance becomes overbearing.

Rather than summon his Arctovish to blast it away, however, the prince gently shoos it away with a single hand. Thankfully, it isn't too long before it takes the hint and buzzes off.

At last, a bite! Remiel is quick to reel it in, standing from his seated position to plant his legs firmly on the rock. With a single tug, he manages to yank a TATSUGIRI out of the water. The rumors were true!

His Arctovish attempts to hit it with a FREEZE-DRY, but the attack misses as Remiel continues to reel it in. Once it finally reaches him, however, it casts a MEMENTO on him, and falls unconscious. Amused, Remiel pulls out an empty Luxury Ball and taps it against the little dragonfish.

He'll have to cleanse himself with sage when he gets home, but today was a good day regardless.
